Welcome to the website of BIMO Design.
By accessing our website, booking our consultation services, or partnering with us for your engineering projects, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Scope of Services
BIMO Design provides specialized Business-to-Business (B2B) services including, but not limited to:
Millwork Engineering & Material Optimization
Detailed CAD Drafting & Submittal Packages (incorporating our proprietary Alphanumeric Item and Part ID systems)
CNC Programming & G-Code Generation using specialized platforms like Cabinet Vision and Microvellum.
All deliverables are produced based on the architectural packages, layouts, and shop configurations provided by the Client.
2. Client Responsibilities & Data Accuracy
To ensure our deliverables match your shop floor perfectly, the Client is responsible for providing:
Accurate and verified field dimensions, architectural intents, and submittal requirements.
Up-to-date CNC machine specifications, database catalogs, tooling profiles, and post-processor configurations.
BIMO Design is not responsible for fabrication errors stemming from unverified field dimensions, outdated client databases, or inaccurate shop standards provided to us.
3. Payment Methods & Terms
To maintain project timelines, engineering schedules, and production queues, all financial transactions must adhere to the following terms:
Accepted Payment Methods: We securely accept payments via Electronic Fund Transfer (e-Transfer) and Corporate Cheque.
Via e-Transfer: Payments must be directed to our designated company email. For security and tracking verification, please include your business name and invoice number in the memo line.
Via Cheque: All physical cheques must be made payable directly to BIMO Design and sent to our administrative office address.
Settlement: Invoices are due upon receipt unless explicitly agreed upon under a separate written Net-15 or Net-30 agreement. BIMO Design reserves the right to pause drafting or withhold final G-code packages if accounts carry past-due balances.
4. CNC Programming & Machining Liability Disclaimer
While BIMO Design utilizes expert-level simulations, collision detection, and sequence optimization for Cabinet Vision and Microvellum code generation, the physical reality of the shop floor remains under the Client's control.
Crucial Production Requirement: The Client's CNC operators and shop managers must run dry runs, depth verifications, and graphical machine simulations on their specific controllers prior to cutting raw material.
BIMO Design serves strictly as an engineering data provider. We are not liable for:
Material waste or spoiled sheet goods.
Tooling damage, machine component wear, or router bit breakage.
Machine downtime caused by physical machine miscalibrations or software database variations on-site.
5. Intellectual Property & File Ownership
Proprietary Processes: Our underlying engineering logic, software methodologies, and custom-coded parameters remain the intellectual property of BIMO Design.
Client Deliverables: Upon full settlement of all outstanding invoices, the client receives the right to use the generated PDF submittals, CAD shop drawings, and machine-ready G-code files exclusively for the specific project contracted. Reselling or distributing our code or technical drawing structures to third parties for unrelated projects is strictly prohibited.
6. Appointment Modifications & Cancellations
When booking an Initial Project Scope Review, a Technical Drafting Consultation, or a CNC Toolpath Strategy Session through our online scheduling portal:
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule your technical session.
For scope reviews, required files (architectural PDFs, layout sketches) must be uploaded through our booking form prior to the call to ensure a productive engineering session.
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall BIMO Design, nor its engineers or operators, be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special liability arising out of or in any way connected with your use of our digital data packages on your shop floor. Our total liability under any agreement shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Client to BIMO Design for that specific phase of work.
